Microplate Based systems (Perkin Elmer):

The TopCount NXT is a versatile high performance Microplate Scintillation and Luminescence Analyzer. It is sold in various configurations, including 2, 4, 6 and 12 detector formats as well as 24, 96 and 384 well plate formats. Stackers are included for walk-away automation. A refrigerated sample counting chamber maintains a constant 19 degrees C for optimum PMT stability and reduced background noise, ideal for luminescence studies. Windows-based software makes it simple to use, with full networking capability included as well.

Topcount NXT-HTS Microplate Scintillation Analyzer

This is the top-of-the line model from the Topcount series. Includes 12 detectors. Will count 12 wells at a time in both 96 and 384 well formats. Will also count 12 wells at a time in Luminescence mode. Includes refrigerated cooling cart, stacker magazines, new LCD display, new printer, barcode protocol ID labels and manuals. System is completely calibrated to meet original manufacturer specifications. Includes calibration/normalization plate.

Microplate Based systems (Microbeta Series):

The Perkin Elmer-Wallac Microbeta Trilux is a benchtop Microplate Scintillation and Luminescence analyzer. Its unique sample counting design allows for a wide range of sample types and volumes to be counted. It can readily count 4ml scintillation vials, eppendorf microtubes, 24 well, 96 well and 384 well microplates and microstrips, plus a variety of filtermats and screens from various manufacturers. It is a compact benchtop system with separate PC control running Windows XP. It comes with a built-in microplate sample changer accomodating either 16 or 32 microplates. Will count 24, 96 and 384 well formats. Comes in 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 detector formats.
